Upside down drawing is easier because your brain doesn’t recognize what you are drawing. So you draw what you see instead of how you think you it should look. When I confronted the hands that are folded together it was the first time I could really tell what I was drawing, and it was difficult at first but I just tried to copy the line the best I could. My favorite experience coping the the upside down man is that it came out much better than I thought it would. I’m not really sure what type of line-style I used, it seems like I would vary between a few depending on what part I was on.

The dominant characteristics of R-mode are visual/perceptual, holistic, non-linear and intuitive. While the dominant characteristics of L-mode are language/verbal, sequential/step-by-step, numbers/symbols and analytics. R-mode is preferable for artistic endeavors because the characteristics for in r-mode are more angled towards artistic things. My experience with the vase-face worksheet is that it was much easier when it was quiet because I could concentrate better compared to when there was talking.
My favorite part of the block carving project was carving the block, because it was a lot of fun to carve out the shape. My least favorite part was was transferring my drawing onto the “EZ Carve” block, this is because it was hard to see the lines you are suppose to trace with the sharpie. The sky was my inspiration for this because I decided to draw a sun. If I were to do this project again I would be more creative with my drawing because it was kinda boring. A concept I learned about while creating this artwork is how to transfer your artwork onto the carving block using graphite on the back of it.
